Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2026. General Administration Department rules provide age relaxation up to 45 years for local residents of Chhattisgarh who are regular government servants, public sector/board/corporation/contract employees/ex-servicemen. An additional 5 years of age relaxation applies to local educated unemployed youth of Chhattisgarh under departmental norms, provided the total relaxation does not exceed 45 years.
Selection Process
Selection is based on academic qualification weightage, practical computer tests, and experience marks. Merit lists are prepared and candidates are called for a skill test. For each vacancy, 10 candidates will be called based on merit ranking. Final selection combines academic/experience weightage and practical test scores. No waiting list is maintained beyond the reserve candidates formed during selection.
