Syllabus
Since Senior Instructor vacancies are distributed across 13 technical disciplines (Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Plant Protection, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Extension, Production, Economics/Sociology-linked disciplines, and Public Health), the written exam for each discipline is expected to test core subject knowledge at the level of the qualifying degree for that discipline. UPSSSC has not released a topic-wise breakdown of this technical portion. Candidates should prepare using: • Their degree-level core textbooks and coursework in the specific discipline they have applied for (for example, B.Sc. Agriculture syllabus for the Plant Protection or Agriculture posts, or postgraduate Economics/Sociology syllabus for the related disciplines). • State and central government schemes, policies and technical developments relevant to their discipline (for example, agricultural extension schemes for Agriculture-linked posts, or public health programmes for the Public Health post).
