Eligibility for UPSSSC Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Recruitment 2026 has two parts: eligibility to apply for this Main Exam, and the underlying educational qualification for the post itself.
Age Limit
As per Rule-10 of the UP Krishi Vibhag Avar Abhiyanta Seva Niyamawali, 2015 (Part-4), a candidate must have attained 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 40 years of age as on 1 July of the calendar year in which the vacancies are advertised for direct recruitment. • Age relaxation is admissible to SC, ST, and other government-notified categories as per prevailing rules. • Government servants in UP state service get a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit as per the applicable government order. • Age is calculated based on the date of birth recorded in the High School or equivalent certificate; no other document is accepted for date of birth verification. Selection Process
Selection for UPSSSC Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Recruitment 2026 follows this process: • Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET-2025) - already conducted; used only as a shortlisting tool for this Main Exam. • Shortlisting for the Main Exam based on category-wise normalized PET-2025 score, up to 15 times the number of advertised posts. • Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Mukhya Pariksha (Main Exam) - a single written objective-type paper of 100 questions and 100 marks, to be completed in 2 hours (120 minutes). • Final selection is based on merit in the written Main Exam, as approved by the Uttar Pradesh Government (Karmik Anubhag-3) exam scheme dated 30 June 2026.
How to Apply
• Visit the official UPSSSC website, upsssc.gov.in, and go to the Live Advertisement Segment on the homepage to find and view the relevant advertisement. • Log in using your PET-2025 registration number and verify via the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email. • Your personal details from PET-2025 (name, parentage, category, EWS status, horizontal reservation, date of birth, gender, marital status, contact details) will be auto-filled. • Fill in the mandatory educational qualification details, including board/institution name, year of passing, certificate number, and marks. • Enter the verification code and submit the registration; note your 11-digit registration number from the generated application form. • Review your auto-displayed PET-2025 photo and signature (these cannot be changed) and continue. • Select any preferential qualification, if applicable, and confirm your address details. • Read and accept the declaration, enter the verification code, and click Save and Submit. • Pay the application fee online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan. • Download and print your final submitted application form for your records.
Important Instructions
• Candidates must possess the mandatory educational qualification and satisfy the age limit as on the last date of application, 7 October 2026. • Applications cannot be submitted or fees paid after 7 October 2026; no representation or claim will be entertained after this date. • The application form can only be modified up to 14 October 2026, and only for the specific fields UPSSSC permits (correspondence address, EWS/horizontal reservation category, qualification details, marital status).
