Vacancy Details
A total of 305 vacancies (164 for Anganwadi Karyakartri and 141 for Anganwadi Sahayika) have been notified across 13 Anganwadi projects of Maharajganj district. The project-wise and category-wise break-up given in the notification is as follows.
Age Limit
Particular: Detail Minimum age: 18 years Maximum age: 35 years Age reckoning date: 01 July 2026 Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2026. Selection Process
• Selection will be made entirely on the basis of merit, following the procedure laid down in Shasanadesh No. I/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025. • No written examination or interview will be conducted for these posts. • The entire selection process will be conducted online through the portal, as per the directions given in the government order. • Merit will be determined on the basis of the qualification from Intermediate up to Postgraduate level. Marks obtained in High School will not be included in the merit calculation. • To calculate merit, the percentage of marks obtained by a candidate is divided by 10. For example, 45% marks will count as 4.5 marks, and 59% marks will count as 5.9 marks. • Marks obtained under grading or CGPA systems will also be converted and counted in the same manner. • The merit list will be prepared by counting marks up to three decimal places; digits after the decimal will not be rounded off. • If more than one eligible candidate is available in the same category, a merit list will be prepared for all such candidates. • If any information, data, or marks entered in the application are found to be incorrect or fabricated, the candidature will be cancelled.

• Self-attested, clear and legible copies of educational certificates and marksheets (Intermediate to Postgraduate, as applicable), to be uploaded online as specified in the application form. • Residence certificate, digitally signed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, verifiable through the e-District portal. • Income certificate, digitally signed by the Tehsildar, verifiable through the e-District portal. • Caste certificate (where applicable), digitally signed by the Tehsildar, verifiable through the e-District portal. • Husband's death certificate and attested family register copy, for widowed applicants. • Competent court order, for divorced/deserted (parityakta) applicants. No document or application will be accepted offline or by post. Selection will be based only on the documents uploaded online at the time of application.

• Only women applicants are eligible to apply for the Anganwadi Karyakartri/Sahayika vacant posts advertised in this notification. • The complete selection procedure for these posts will be governed by Shasanadesh No. I/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17.09.2025. • Applicants must be residents of the same Gram Sabha or ward for which they are applying. • Detailed Gram Sabha/ward-wise vacancy and reservation details are displayed on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhavan, District Programme Office, Tehsil, Nagar Palika/Nagar Panchayat, Development Block and Anganwadi project offices, and are also uploaded on upanganwadibharti.in. • Candidates may also obtain vacancy-related information from the concerned Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) office or the District Programme Office on working days. • The number of vacancies is subject to increase or decrease. • At one Anganwadi centre, two women from the same family will not be appointed as Karyakartri and Sahayika.
