Selection Process
An online merit is prepared on the basis of educational qualification, from the minimum of Intermediate up to the maximum of postgraduate. Selection for the Anganwadi Helper and Worker posts then follows this order of preference, always within the same Gram Sabha or ward (urban area): • Widow BPL candidate • Divorced/abandoned BPL candidate • BPL candidate • Widow APL candidate • Divorced/abandoned APL candidate • APL candidate on the basis of merit The widow and divorced/abandoned status is accepted only on the certificates listed above.
How to Apply
• Go to the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in, where the detailed form and information on the qualification and application process are available. • Fill in the online application between 6 November 2026 and 26 November 2026, up to 12:00 midnight. • Apply for a vacant post in your own Gram Sabha or ward only. • Check every entry, especially the marks obtained and maximum marks; no offline request for correcting an error will be considered. Offline applications will not be accepted in any case.
Important Instructions
• If the application has any error, or any fact, figure or marks in the educational records is found false or forged, the candidature will be cancelled and the applicant will be responsible. • For more information, candidates can contact the Child Development Project Office of the Development Block or the District Programme Officer (Child Development Department) office in Vikas Bhawan, Hardoi, on any office day during office hours. • Child Development Project Officers have been directed to paste the Gram Sabha and reservation-wise list on tehsil and block notice boards and to inform the Gram Pradhan or ward member (Sabhasad) of the vacant posts. • The notice is to be published free of charge in at least two local daily newspapers through the Information Department, Hardoi.
