Selection to the Anganwadi Sahayika/Karyakatri posts follows this order of preference, always among candidates of the same Gram Sabha or ward (in urban areas): • Widow BPL candidate. • Divorced or abandoned (Talakshuda/Parityakta) BPL candidate. • BPL candidate. • Widow APL candidate. • Divorced or abandoned APL candidate. • APL candidate on the basis of merit. For a widow, only a certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer or the concerned urban local body, with an attested copy of the family register (Parivar Register), is valid. For a divorced or abandoned woman, only a legal or court order is valid.

• Apply only online on the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in. • Submit the form between 6 November 2026 and 26 November 2026, up to 12:00 midnight; forms are accepted only within this period. • Do not send an offline form; offline application forms will not be accepted in any case. • For more information, contact the Child Development Project Office of the block or the District Programme Officer (Child Development Department) office at Vikas Bhawan on any working day during office hours.
