Selection Process
Stage: Details Stage I: Screening Test: Offline, only at the University of Allahabad campus. Based on the ESDM or IT/ITES research domain. A list of candidates for the interview will be announced based on the results. Stage II: Personal Interview: Conducted by a panel of experts. It may be held on the same day as the Stage I test or the next day. Selection depends on the interview panel's recommendation and approval by the Competent Authority. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by email.
How to Apply
• Pay the fee online into the Punjab National Bank account given above and keep the receipt. • Fill in the application form (Annexure-1) at the end of the notice. It asks for personal details, correspondence and permanent addresses, academic records from 10th to Ph.D., GATE/NET/JRF details, work experience, previous research and publications, and a detailed research proposal. Paste a self-attested recent passport-size photograph on it and sign the declaration. • Send the completed form and all documents by Indian post to: The Head of the Department, Department of Electronics and Communication, Science Faculty, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj-211002, U.P. India. • Write on the envelope: "Application for PDF position under Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme, for Electronics and IT, Phase-II, DIC, MietY at University of Allahabad". • Make sure the hard copy reaches the department by 18 November 2026. • Also email the completed application form, CV and supporting documents to [email protected]. • Check the university website for updates.
