Reservation
Reservation is applicable only to candidates who are permanent residents (domicile) of Uttarakhand, in categories including Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Economically Weaker Section, Ex-servicemen, Freedom Fighter dependents, Divyang (PwD), Uttarakhand Women, Uttarakhand orphans, skilled sportspersons, and identified Uttarakhand State Andolankari or their dependents, as per prevailing government orders. Reservation is granted only if the candidate specifically claims the relevant category/sub-category in the online application form. • Skilled sportsperson horizontal reservation: 4%, applicable as per medal/participation level defined in the notification (Olympic, World Cup/World Championship/Asian Games, Commonwealth Games/Asian Championship, Commonwealth Championship/International University Games, National Games/recognized national championships, and Uttarakhand state-level championships). • State Andolankari (movement participant) horizontal reservation: 10%. • OBC certificate validity: 3 years from the date of issue, and must be valid up to the last date of submitting the online application. • EWS certificate must be based on income for financial year 2025–26 and valid for financial year 2026–27, and must be held up to the last date of the online application.
