Eligibility
• A Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned / relevant / allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. • The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode; • The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners; • An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted; • The Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;

• Maximum Age limit: Should not have completed 57 Years • Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

• Pay Scale: Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400 (Level 10)

Selection Process
A. Written Examination • The Date, Time and Centre for the written examination will be indicated in the Hall Ticket. • The Hall Tickets for the eligible candidates will be uploaded by the Teachers Recruitment Board in its website. • The candidates are advised to refer to the Teachers Recruitment Board’s website for details (https://www.trb.tn.gov.in) and download the Hall Ticket. • The Hall tickets shall not be sent to the candidates individually. No written communication will be sent to the candidate. • Mere participation of the candidates in the Written Examination does not confer any right of their claim in the selection B. Interview • Candidates will be called for personal interview based on the marks scored in the Written Examination and weightage marks given for the teaching experience by following merit-cum-communal rotation as per the prevailing Government norms. • Interview shall be conducted as per the guidelines given in G.O.(Ms) No.230, Higher Education (F2) Department, Dated: 06.10.2025.
