Eligibility
Criteria: Details Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC (10th) conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, or an equivalent examination (CBSE/ICSE Class 10, other State Board Class 10, NIOS Secondary level course, or KSOU Secondary level course, as clarified vide Government Circular dated 27.02.2018) Language: Must be able to read and write Kannada Candidates who do not possess the required qualification but participate in the recruitment process will have their applications rejected and will not be considered for recruitment.
Age Limit
• Minimum age: 18 years • Maximum age – General category: 35 + 5* years • Maximum age – Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: 38 + 5* years • Maximum age – SC, ST, Category-1: 40 + 5* years • *A one-time additional relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit is granted to candidates of all categories participating in the selection process, as per Government Order dated 29.01.2026 • Further age relaxations apply for government employees/ex-employees of State Government, local authorities, or government corporations (up to years of service or 10 years, whichever is less), ex-servicemen (service years + 3 years), NCC whole-time instructors, Gram Sevaks, persons with disabilities (10 years), Census Department employees (service years or 5 years, whichever is less), widows (10 years), and released bonded labourers (10 years), as per the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) Rules, 1977
Salary
Selected candidates will be paid in the pay scale of ₹27,000-650-29,600-725-32,500-800-35,700-900-39,300-1,000-43,300-1,125-46,675, along with other applicable allowances.

• General category candidates: ₹200/- • Category 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B candidates: ₹100/- • SC, ST, Category-1, and disabled candidates: Exempted from application fee • Fee must be paid only online via State Bank Collect (SBI e-pay / net banking / credit card / debit card / UPI), through the link on the court website; demand drafts, postal orders, money orders, and challans are not accepted • Applications with unpaid fee will be rejected; fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances
Selection Process
Shortlisting based on SSLC/qualifying exam marks (1:10 ratio) followed by interview (10 marks) on Kannada reading/writing ability and general knowledge

Important Instructions
