Age Limit
The upper age limit is 64 years as on 09/10/2026. The maximum tenure of engagement shall be subject to the upper age limit of 65 years. A Medical Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner/Doctor is mandatory to be produced before engagement.
Salary
Post: Pay Level / Pay Consultant (Sports Coach) - Level 1: Rs. 28,000/- per month Consultant (Sports Coach) - Level 2: Rs. 32,000/- per month Consultant (Sports Coach) - Level 3: Rs. 36,000/- per month The monthly remuneration is applicable for engagement for a minimum of 6 hours a day for six days in a week. If engagement is for less or more than 6 hours per day, rates may be pro-rated accordingly. No HRA will be admissible. Ex-employees of SAIL may retain Company accommodation or other ex-employees may be provided 2 BR or equivalent accommodation on payment basis subject to availability.

The selection process is through Walk-in-Interview subject to Medical Fitness.

Department • A Self-Certificate that he/she has not separated due to Voluntary Retirement
Important Instructions
• The engagement is purely of temporary nature on a tenure basis for a period of one year, extendable twice up to a maximum of three years. • Ex-employees separated through Voluntary Retirement are not considered for engagement. • TA/DA for attending the interview is not admissible. • Selected coaches shall give their services in emergent conditions even beyond normal working hours without extra remuneration. • Income Tax/GST shall be dealt in terms of applicable provisions under the Income Tax/GST Act. • The engagement can be terminated by giving one month's notice by either party or forthwith under conditions like poor performance, medical unfitness, or moral turpitude.
