How to Apply
• Visit the official RRC/ER website (www.rrcer.org) and click on the Online/E-Application link for the Scouts & Guides Quota, then click "New Registration." • Fill in personal information - Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Community, e-mail Address, and Mobile Number. A Registration Number and Password will be sent to your registered e-mail/mobile. • Log in using the Registration Number and Password received. • Upload scanned copies of your Photograph, Signature and LTI, and self-attested certificates for date of birth, education/technical qualifications, caste (SC/ST/OBC/EBC/EWS), income certificate, self-declarations, and Scouts & Guides achievements. • Fill up all mandatory fields of the application form and submit it - a Unique Application Number will be generated. Preserve your Registration Number for future stages of the recruitment process. • Take 2 printouts of the properly filled-up application form for your records. Applications sent manually, or received directly by RRC/ER outside the online portal, will not be entertained. No change is permitted after the final submission of the online application. Candidates are advised to keep their personal mobile number and email ID active throughout the recruitment process, and to apply well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues.

• Self-attested certificates and mark sheets proving educational qualification and Scouts & Guides qualification, issued by a government-recognized Board/University/Institute. • Self-attested proof of age - Birth Certificate/Matriculation/10th Certificate/Admit Card/Marksheet showing date of birth. • SC/ST candidates: self-attested community certificate (as per Annexure-I). • OBC-NCL candidates: self-attested community certificate (Annexure-II) plus a non-creamy-layer self-declaration (Annexure-IIA). • EBC candidates: Income Certificate (Annexure-VII). • EWS candidates: Income Certificate (Annexure-VI). • Minority candidates: declaration for fee waiver (Annexure-IX). • PwBD candidates: self-attested Disability Certificate (Annexure-III, IV, or V, as applicable). • Self-attested certificates proving Scouts & Guides achievements. • Certificates in languages other than English or Hindi must be accompanied by an attested translation. At the time of Document Verification, candidates must produce original certificates for both educational and Scouts & Guides qualifications. If the original degree certificate is not yet available, a final mark sheet, a provisional certificate, and an undertaking may be submitted instead, though the appointment offer will remain pending until the original is verified.
Important Instructions
• Candidates found using unfair means, impersonating another person, or furnishing false information will be debarred for life from all RRB/RRC examinations and Railway appointments, and may face legal prosecution. • Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature. • Eligible SC/ST candidates opting for free travel will be issued a Free Railway Travel Authority for attending the Written Examination and Document Verification. • Candidates must bring the e-call letter, a valid original photo ID (Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, e-Aadhaar, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Passport, or Employer ID for Government employees), and 4 passport-size photographs to the written test. • No TA/DA/Accommodation will be provided for the written test; candidates may need to arrange their own stay for 2-3 days. • RRC/ER reserves the right to fix, change, or postpone the date and venue of the written test, or cancel it, without any claim being entertained. • Serving Government employees must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer. • Possession or use of mobile phones and other electronic devices inside the examination premises is strictly prohibited, and violation will lead to cancellation of candidature along with possible criminal/disciplinary action. • Persons appointed as Clerk-cum-Typist must acquire typing proficiency of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi within 2 years of appointment; until then, the appointment remains provisional. • Legal jurisdiction for any disputes …
