Salary
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹25,500/- per month for the ad-hoc period, which lasts for six months or until regular appointments are made by the Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, or until the ad-hoc Stenographer Grade III staff become eligible for promotion to Stenographer Grade-II, whichever is earlier.
Selection Process
Candidates will be required to qualify the following stages: • English Shorthand Test at 80 W.P.M. and Transcription at 20 W.P.M. on computer. • A Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), which is qualifying in nature. The Stenography/Shorthand test is scheduled to be held on 28.09.2026, and the Computer Proficiency Test on 05.10.2026. Candidates must bring their original documents and valid ID proof at the time of the test. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test.
