Eligibility
RCF Assistant Officer eligibility is based on a specific educational qualification combined with post-qualification secretarial experience. There are two alternative qualification routes, and candidates should check both carefully before applying.
Age Limit
The RCF Assistant Officer age limit is calculated as on the cut-off date of 01.07.2026, and this cut-off will remain unchanged irrespective of any reason. Category: Upper Age Limit UR/EWS: 32 years SC: 37 years OBC (NCL): 35 years PwBD (UR/EWS): 42 years PwBD (SC): 47 years PwBD (OBC-NCL): 45 years Additional age relaxations as per the notification: 5 years for SC and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates against reserved posts; 10 years for UR/EWS PwBD, 15 years for SC PwBD, and 13 years for OBC (NCL) PwBD candidates against reserved posts; 5 years for Departmental candidates; and 5 years additional concession for children/family members of victims of the 1984 riots.
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in the EO Grade with a pay scale of Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 120,000. The minimum total monthly gross salary works out to approximately Rs. 65,000, comprising Basic Pay + VDA (53.4%) + Perks (34%) + HRA (30% for Class A cities, or applicable rates for other cities).
