Eligibility

Age Limit
As on 1 January 2027, the candidate must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 40 years of age, as per the provisions of the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022. Category: Upper Age Relaxation SC / ST / OBC / MBC / EWS male candidates (Rajasthan domicile): 5 years General category female candidates (Rajasthan domicile): 5 years SC / ST / OBC / MBC / EWS female candidates (Rajasthan domicile): 10 years Widows and divorced (deserted) women: No upper age limit, subject to being below the state-prescribed retirement age Ex-servicemen: 10 years (up to a maximum permissible age of 55 years where lower-post experience is mandatory for direct recruitment) Benchmark persons with disabilities (Divyangjan): Additional 5 years, over and above the relaxation applicable to their own category Former convicts eligible under rules: Relaxation equal to the period of imprisonment undergone Important: Age relaxation benefits under the various categories above are non-cumulative — a candidate can avail the relaxation under only one applicable provision, not a combination of multiple provisions. As per Rajasthan Service Rules, the retirement age for government employees is 60 years; hence a candidate's age must not exceed 60 years as on the date of appointment.
Salary
Selected candidates will be engaged on a contract basis and paid a monthly honorarium of Rs. 7,410/-, as notified by the Labour Department, Government of Rajasthan, vide notification dated 13 December 2024.

Under the One Time Registration (OTR) system introduced via the Personnel Department circular dated 19 April 2023, candidates must pay the OTR registration fee once through their SSO ID via authorised e-Mitra kiosks or Jan Suvidha Kendras before applying. Category: OTR Registration Fee General (Unreserved): Rs. 600/- Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC-NC/MBC-NC/EWS): Rs. 400/- Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan): Rs. 400/- Candidates who have already paid the One Time Registration fee in an earlier recruitment do not need to pay it again.
Reservation
• Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, More Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections is applicable as per prevailing Rajasthan Government norms (vertical reservation). • Women: 30% horizontal reservation, category-wise. • Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan): 4% horizontal reservation. • Ex-servicemen: 15% horizontal reservation. • Outstanding sportspersons: 2% horizontal reservation. • Reservation for candidates from the Sahariya primitive tribe of Baran district is applicable as per government orders, subject to clear declaration in the online application form. • Candidates from states other than Rajasthan belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS categories will be treated as General category candidates.

Important Instructions
• A candidate can apply to only one urban local body out of the 183 notified ULBs.
