SSSB has notified 10 vacancies across 5 posts. Category-wise numbers are as per demand letters received from the departments concerned and may be increased, decreased, or withdrawn by the department at any stage of the recruitment process; such changes will apply to all candidates. Eligibility

Age Limit
The age limit for these posts, as on 01.01.2026, as per Punjab Government instructions, is: • No candidate of any category should be less than 18 years of age. • The upper age limit for General category candidates should not exceed 37 years. • The maximum upper age limit for Scheduled Caste candidates who are residents of Punjab State shall be 42 years. • The maximum age limit, giving relaxation in upper age limit for State and Central Government employees, shall be 45 years. • The upper age limit for widows, divorcees and certain other categories of married women, as per Punjab Government instructions vide letter No. 1/50/83-5PP(1368)/3454 dated 23.04.1984, will be relaxed up to 40 years. State and Central Government employees seeking upper age relaxation must obtain an NOC from their department and present it at the time of counseling.
Salary
Pay scales and allowances, as received from the departments concerned, are as per the 7th Central Pay Scale, subject to the Finance Department (Finance Personnel-1 Branch) letter No. 7/204/2012-4FP1/66-72 dated 15/01/2015, letter No. 07/204/2015-4FP1/853793 dated 04/10/2016, and other instructions issued from time to time.
