Minimum 2nd Class Master’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks / equivalent OGPA. NET cleared with one publication in a NAAS rated journal. Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject with coursework as prescribed in the UGC Regulation, 2009. Candidates who passed NET on or before 11.07.2009 are exempted from NET subject to conditions. A relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) is provided for SC/ST/PwD candidates. NET/SLET/SET cleared in a related subject conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR/ICMR or similar bodies.
