Salary
The Assistant post carries the following pay scale as per the notification: • Level-9, Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400/- (as per 7th Pay Commission) • Or, PB-2, Pay Rs. 9,300 - 34,800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4,200/- (pre-revised Pay Band and Grade Pay under 6th CPC) • Or, as prescribed by the funding agency (ICAR) from time to time The notification clarifies that the pay and pay scale are subject to change based on revisions notified/communicated by ICAR or other funding agencies, applicable prospectively.

• Download the prescribed application form (Annexure-II) and information sheet from the official OUAT website: www.ouat.ac.in. • Fill in the application form completely and legibly in block capitals where required. • Deposit the application fee of Rs. 500/- through GCC/internet banking/RTGS as detailed in the fee section above. • Attach self-attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets, category/disability certificates (as applicable), and the fee deposit receipt. • Paste two recent passport-size color photographs on the form. • In-service candidates must route their application through proper channel and submit an advance copy of the original application, along with an NOC from their employer within one month of the last date of application. • Superscribe the envelope with "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT" along with the advertisement number and date. • Send the complete application by Speed Post or Registered Post to: The Registrar, Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar-751003, Odisha. • Ensure the application reaches the Registrar's office on or before 5:00 PM, 12 August 2026. Important Instructions
• Applications received after the due date and time will not be entertained. The university is not responsible for any loss or delay in postal transit. • Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. • KVK employees are Contractual Project Staff for as long as 100% funding from ICAR continues. • KVK employees are not entitled to terminal benefits, and their service is coterminous with the central project, i.e., for as long as 100% funds are made available by ICAR. • Neither the State Government nor OUAT will bear any liability pertaining to KVK employment. • Transfer of KVK employees will be within the KVKs only. • On appointment, the candidate must serve in the KVK for a minimum period of one year and may need to furnish an undertaking to this effect at the time of joining.
