Age Limit
• The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) is not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. • Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for appointment on deputation (including short term contract). Deputationists are not eligible for appointment by promotion. For the discipline-specific eligibility of each post, candidates should check Annexure-I of the official notification.

• Get the Bio-data/Curriculum Vitae proforma (Annexure-II) from the circular. The circular says it is available on the website www.censusindia.gov.in. • Write the post you are applying for at the top. Fill in all items, including the eligibility and qualifications of the post set against what you hold (items 5(A) and 5(B)), your employment history and your present pay. Important Instructions
• Applications that are incomplete, received after the closing date, or not certified by the forwarding authority will not be entertained. • Candidates who apply will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature later. • Only officers who can be spared immediately if selected should be forwarded. • Applications must be forwarded strictly in line with the circular and its annexures. • Pay Band and Grade Pay granted under ACP/MACP are personal to the officer and must not be shown as the pay of the post.
