Eligibility
• B.E./B.Tech. in Biotechnology/Industrial Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Biotech. Engineering/Bioengineering/Biological Sciences and Bioengineering/Biosciences and Bioengineering/Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering/Biochemical and Biotechnology Engineering, and M.E./M.Tech./M.S.(by Research)/M.S.* (from abroad, two-year program only) in Biotechnology/Industrial Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Biotech Engineering/Genetic Engineering/Biological Sciences and Bioengineering/Biosciences and Bioengineering/Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering/Biochemical and Biotechnology Engineering/Environmental Engineering. • (OR) M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Botany/Zoology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences and M.Tech. in Biotechnology/M.Tech in Environmental Engineering. • (OR) M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Botany/Zoology/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences. • Minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL category and minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA at both UG and PG for SC/ST/PwD category. • Candidates with Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with at least CGPA of 7.5/10 or 70% of marks under GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL category and at least CGPA of 7.0/10 or 65% under SC/ST/PwD category. • Candidates with GATE/CSIR-UGC/DBT/ICMR NET qualification will be given preference.
Age Limit
• Maximum Age Limit: 30 years. • Upper age relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically challenged candidates.
