• Professor Emeritus: Distinguished Professors in the Departments of Engineering, Science, Management, Architecture, Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences, Education and also in the different Multidisciplinary Centres. Faculty superannuated/ retired from NITs/IITs/IISc or comparable institutions, with suitable externally sponsored projects or comparable activities, in addition to shouldering normal teaching responsibilities and project guidance.
Age Limit
• The maximum age limit for Professor Emeritus is 70 years.
Salary
• Professor Emeritus: Rs. 1,20,000/- per month and monthly allowances up to Rs.20,000/- on reimbursable basis
