Eligibility
• Project Coordinator: M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology, OR M.Tech in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology, OR B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or MCA with strong exposure to AI/Cloud/Software Systems • Senior Faculty in Bioinformatics: M.Tech./M.Sc. in Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or Biotechnology from a recognized university. Working experience in Structural and Functional Genomics Bioinformatics, supported by publications in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals. • Junior Faculty in Bioinformatics: M.Tech/M.Sc. in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Computational Biology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university • Technical Assistant: Postgraduate qualification in Economics, Management, or a related discipline from a recognized university
Age Limit
• Project Coordinator: Max 45 yrs • Senior Faculty in Bioinformatics: Max 45 yrs • Junior Faculty in Bioinformatics: Max 40 yrs • Technical Assistant: Max 40 yrs.
Salary
• Project Coordinator: 1,20,000/- Per month • Senior Faculty in Bioinformatics: 50,000/- Per month • Junior Faculty in Bioinformatics: 40,000/- Per month • Technical Assistant: 30,000/- Per month
Selection Process
• Only shortlisted candidates, after screening of applications, will be called for interview. The interview is scheduled on 30-10-2025 from 10:00 AM onwards. • Any changes in the schedule or mode of interview shall be notified on the NIELIT Guwahati website. • For online interviews, candidates may be required to use Jitsi, Google Meet, Zoom, Cisco Webex, or Microsoft Teams, as specified by NIELIT. • Candidates must ensure that the respective platform is installed and functional before the interview and must appear at the allotted time slot.
