Salary
The Scientific/Technical Assistant-A post carries a pay of Level 6 under the 7th Central Pay Commission, i.e., ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month, in addition to applicable allowances as per Government of India norms.

Selection Process
• Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria and who have completed registration on the NIC portal will be considered for further selection. • A category-wise merit list will be prepared for each discipline based on GATE Score, with equal weightage given to GATE 2024, GATE 2025, and GATE 2026 scores. • Candidates must submit their best GATE score from any one of the eligible years for the discipline applied. • In case of a tie: (1) the older-year GATE score is ranked higher; (2) if the score and year are the same, the older candidate is ranked higher; (3) if still tied, the candidate with a higher percentage in the essential qualification is ranked higher. • Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification before being offered a provisional appointment. • Non-appearance for document verification with original documents will result in rejection of candidature. • Document verification will be conducted at Delhi or any other location/mode approved by the competent authority; no request for postponement or change of location will be entertained, and no TA/DA will be paid.
