Eligibility
Candidates must be Indian citizens and fulfil the following educational qualification, experience, and age criteria to be eligible for the NIAB Technical Officer post.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for the Technical Officer post is 35 years. Age will be reckoned as on the closing date for receipt of the online application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines. Reservation for Persons with Disability (PWD) will be in accordance with Section 33 of the Disabilities Act, 1995.
Salary
The Technical Officer post carries Pay Level 6 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), along with usual allowances admissible to Central Government employees of the same pay and status posted at Hyderabad, Telangana. Appointment will initially be on probation for a period of 2 years, which may be extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority, and further continuation will depend on the candidate's performance during probation.

Selection Process
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a Written Test and/or Skill Test, as decided by the Competent Authority. If a large number of applications are received, screening will be done to shortlist candidates possessing higher/relevant qualifications and experience. The Institute reserves the right to convert desirable qualifications into essential qualifications to optimise the number of candidates called for the selection process. Candidates called for the written test and/or skill test will be paid single second-class rail fare from the actual place of journey or normal place of residence, whichever is nearer to Secunderabad Railway Station, on production of relevant travel documents.
