Eligibility
• Inspector: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in parent cadre or department OR with 5 years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in Level-6 of pay matrix (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400) and 2 years' experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or IT cases or Training in counter terrorism. • Sub-Inspector: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in parent cadre or department OR with 6 years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Pay Level-5 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- and 2 years' experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operation or IT cases or Training in counter terrorism.
Age Limit
• Inspector: Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years. • Sub-Inspector: Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years.
Salary
Post Name: Salary Details Inspector: Pay Matrix Level-7 (PB-2 with GP Rs. 4600/-) Sub-Inspector: Pay Matrix Level-6 (PB-2 with GP Rs. 4200/-)
