Eligibility
• Minimum criteria should be Class-6 Passed for Backward Tribes and Class-8 Passed for Indigenous Naga Tribes of Nagaland from NBSE or Equivalent Qualification from any recognised Board of School Education in India. Physical Standards Test (PST) Male • Height: 5.3 Feet/162 Cm (Minimum) • Chest: Normal-78 Cm (Minimum), Expanded-83 Cm • Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height as per medical standards Female • Height: 5.0 Feet/152 Cm (Minimum) • Chest: Normal - 74 Cm (Minimum), Expanded- 79 Cm • Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height as per medical standards. Medical Fitness • Candidates shall be medically examined by doctors on various parameters including Height, Weight, Chest, Eye Sight, Colour Blindness, Varicose Veins, Flat Footed, Knocked Knees, Squint Eyes, Deformities, etc, to ensure suitability for police duties. • Candidates shall have to undergo Medical Tests including Opioid Test (for overall drug screening) and Alcohol Abuse Test. Those Candidates testing adversely/positive shall be disqualified and shall not be eligible for appointment. • Female Candidates shall have to undergo Pregnancy test. If tested positive, the selected Candidates shall undergo training in the next batch only and salary for the selected Female Candidates shall be affected from the date of commencement of training only and not from date of selection. • Minimum Age Limit: shall not be less than 18 Years • Maximum Age limit: not more than 38 Years • As one time relaxation of age as per P&AR OM NO.AR/ESTT-10/4/2024/297 Dt. 26/02/2024. • Age concession for serving Government employees will be allowed as per Government Notifications.

• The Examination Fee of ₹300/-(Rupees Three Hundred, only) will be charged which should be paid online. The fee is non-refundable.
Selection Process
Physical /Medical Standards Test: • Candidates must produce copy of their Admit card (generated through Nagaland Police Registration Portal), Naga Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate of Nagaland, proof of Date of Birth and Identity (which was uploaded in the portal). Outdoors (Physical Efficiency Test): • Outdoor tests shall precede the written test. Only those candidates who qualify in all components of Physical/Medical Standards will be allowed to appear in the subsequent tests. • Candidates shall be required to qualify the outdoors tests (Physical Efficiency Test) given below to qualify for written examination. Written Test: • Only those candidates who are declared fit in Physical/Medical Standards and have cleared the Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) will be called for written examination on the scheduled Date(s) and Venue(s) to be notified. • The question paper will be of MCQ comprising of 80 Questions for 40 Marks. • The duration to answer the question paper will be 2 hours. • The question paper will be set in English language only. • The MCQ may consist of questions relating to General Awareness, General Knowledge, Science, Indian History, Indian Polity, Social Sciences, Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics, Sports, Naga Culture and Heritage, Nagaland State and Naga Tribes and General Mental Aptitude tests, etc. Interview: • Merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the Outdoors tests (Physical Efficiency Tests) and Written …

• Only Online filing of Application Form is allowed and the applicants shall be responsible for the details furnished by them. • Application forms can be filed online through Nagaland Police Registration Portal (https://nagalandpolicerecruitment.in). • Application forms will not be issued from PHQ or any of the Offices of the Commissioner of Police/Superintendents of Police. • The Department shall not be responsible for applications submitted to any other Offices or establishment of Nagaland Police other than the Online Registration Portal mentioned above. • Application will be summarily rejected if any document is found to be fake or forged, and the candidature of such applicant can be disqualified or cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process including after selection. • No representation on rejection of Application Forms shall be entertained. • Admit Card will be generated on successful completion of the online application process and may be downloaded immediately thereafter.
