Age Limit
Category: Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026) Open competition / direct recruitment (general): 18 to 40 years Madhya Pradesh domiciled SC/ST/OBC, government/corporation/board/autonomous body employees, Home Guards, PwBD, and women (reserved/unreserved): 18 to 45 years (includes a 5-year relaxation over the general limit) • Age is calculated as on 1 January 2026 for Madhya Pradesh domiciled candidates. • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates are not eligible for age relaxation. • Additional age relaxation applicable to Ex-servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities is as per orders issued by the General Administration Department from time to time. • In no case will the maximum age limit exceed 45 years after including all applicable relaxations (except for contractual employees and categories mentioned in Rule 14 of the notification). Salary
Pay scale varies by post, ranging from Level 4 to Level 8 of the Madhya Pradesh Pay Matrix, depending on the post code and department.
