Age Limit
Age is calculated as on 1st January 2026 for all posts under this combined Junior Service (Combined Eligibility) exam. Category: Minimum Age | Maximum Age General/Unreserved candidates: 18 years | 40 years MP-domicile SC/ST/OBC candidates, government/corporation/board/home guard employees, and women candidates (all categories): 18 years | 45 years (includes 5-year relaxation on maximum age limit) • No age relaxation is admissible for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates as per the applicable General Administration Department circular. • Age relaxation for physically disabled/ex-servicemen candidates is as per Government of Madhya Pradesh orders issued from time to time. • In no case will the maximum age limit, after including all applicable relaxations, exceed 45 years (except contract employees and categories specified under Rule 14). • Additional incentive-based age relaxation of 5 years is available for candidates rewarded under the Inter-Caste Marriage Incentive Scheme, and for sportspersons honoured with the Vikram Award, as per applicable General Administration Department memoranda. • All candidates must have a live registration with the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Office to be eligible for these posts. Exam Pattern
The recruitment exam consists of a single online (computer-based) objective-type question paper of 200 marks, divided into two sections. Section: Subjects | Marks Part A: General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, General Reasoning Ability, General Science, General Computer Knowledge | 100 Part B: Technical, trade/branch-based subject questions (as per the candidate's applied post code and stream) | 100 Total: 200 The Part B technical paper is assigned by stream, with each stream identified by a paper code and mapped to specific post codes as per the rule book: Paper Code: Technical Stream A: Electrical Engineering B: Mechanical Engineering C: Civil Engineering D: Computer Science & Engineering E: Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering F: Fashion Technology G: Architecture & Interior Designing H: Modern Office Management I: Hotel Management J: Agriculture Engineering K: Textile Design L: Automobile Engineering M: Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Note: Candidates applying against Post Code 88 may appear for the paper of either Civil (Paper C) or Architecture (Paper G), as per their subject. The result for Post Code 88 is prepared by combining the percentile scores of candidates in Paper C and Paper G; if a candidate has appeared in both papers, their result is prepared using the higher percentile score obtained across the two.

• Visit the official MP ESB website, www.esb.mp.gov.in, or the MP Online portal. • Register/login and fill the online application form for the "Group-3 Sub Engineer, Cartographer, Laboratory Technician and Other Equivalent Posts Combined Recruitment Exam 2026" between 18.08.2026 and 01.09.2026. • Indicate your post preference/priority carefully among the available post codes and technical streams, as post-priority changes are not accepted after the correction window closes. • Ensure a live Aadhaar registration, as Aadhaar registration is mandatory for candidates. • Pay the applicable exam fee online, plus the MP Online portal fee (₹60 via kiosk or ₹20 via registered citizen login). • Use the correction window (18.08.2026 to 06.09.2026) to fix any errors in the submitted application. • Download the admit card (T.A.C. – Time, Admission, Center slip) from the Board's website closer to the exam date.
Important Instructions
• Aadhaar registration is mandatory for all candidates; multi-level biometric verification is mandatory at the time of exam entry and during the exam, and Aadhaar must be unlocked at the time of biometric verification. • Candidates must carry an original photo identity proof (Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, or Passport) to the exam centre; e-Aadhaar is valid only if verified through UIDAI.
