A total of 2 (two) posts have been announced for the post of Sub-Inspector of Excise & Narcotics under the Excise & Narcotics Department, Government of Mizoram. Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the relevant cut-off dates. Only candidates who meet educational, physical, computer proficiency, Mizo language proficiency and age criteria are eligible. Documentary support to prove fulfilment of eligibility conditions should not be dated later than the last date for submission of application. Criteria: Details Educational Qualification: Graduate in Arts, Commerce & Science or its equivalent from any recognised University. Physical Measurement: Male: Height 156 cms; Chest Normal 77 cms, Expanded 82 cms. Female: Height 150 cms; Chest Normal 72 cms, Expanded 74 cms. Computer Proficiency: As prescribed by the Mizoram Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023. Age Limit
A candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age on 1st August, 2026. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of ST/SC candidates or as may be notified by the Government from time to time. For proof of age, HSLC/HSSLC Certificates / Voters ID / Digitised Birth Certificate which clearly shows the candidate’s date of birth shall be accepted. How to Apply
Candidates shall apply online; no other mode of application will be accepted. Probable applicants who have not registered in the one-time-registration portal must register and submit their application well in advance before the last date of submission. An applicant must verify that his/her application is actually submitted after payment is made, otherwise the claim of the applicant regarding his/her candidature will not be entertained.
