Applications must be made on the prescribed proforma (Annexure-A), which is printed with the notification. The complete application must be received in the office of the undersigned, the Prof. & Head (Fruit Science), Department of Fruit Science, Maharana Pratap Horticultural University, Karnal, by 30 October 2026 at 11.00 A.M. No application received after that will be accepted for any reason. The notice does not say whether the application should be sent by post or delivered by hand. • Write the post name, Young Professional-II, in the blank at the top of the Annexure-A form. • Fill in your personal details: full name in block letters, father's name, date of birth (DD/MM/YY), age as on the interview date, permanent address with PIN code, mobile number, e-mail address, sex, marital status and whether you belong to SC/BC/General. • Paste a self-attested passport size photograph in the space provided. • Fill in your educational qualifications (Matriculation, 10+2, Graduation, Post Graduation, Ph.D.) with board/university, year of passing, maximum marks, marks obtained and percentage/OGPA. • Answer whether you are NET qualified, give your computer knowledge (certificate/diploma/degree) and list any work or professional experience (position held, employer, period from and to, and total experience). • Attach a separate sheet with your publications. Important Instructions
• The selected candidate must report for duty within 15 days from the date the order is issued. Otherwise the appointment will be treated as withdrawn. • At the time of joining, a medical certificate of fitness from the CMO/SMO of a Govt. Hospital must be produced. • Before joining the post, the selected candidate must sign an agreement on non-judicial stamped paper of Rs. 15/-. • The engagement for the scheme is full time. Young Professionals will not be allowed to do any other work, or to accept or hold another appointment elsewhere, with or without pay. • Young Professionals will be under the administrative control of the Principal Investigator. • The University may modify, add, delete and/or amend/change the rules with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, MHU, Karnal. • The declaration on the form says that if any information is found to be false, incorrect or incomplete, or the candidate is found ineligible, at any time before or after the interview or selection, the candidature or appointment may be cancelled or is liable to be rejected without notice.
