Eligibility
• The candidate must be a citizen of India. • The candidate must be able to speak Manipuri or any of the Tribal dialects of Manipur. • The candidate must be a permanent resident of Manipur. A candidate whose parent, or any ancestor in their direct lineage, is a permanent resident of the State is also eligible, provided proper documentary proof is furnished.
Age Limit
• Minimum age: 18 years; Maximum age: 38 years, as on the date of notification of the advertisement. • Upper age limit is relaxable for Government servants appointed under the Government of Manipur, to the extent of their continuous service in the post/service. • 5 years' relaxation for SC/ST candidates; 3 years' relaxation for OBC candidates. • A Government servant belonging to SC/ST gets the relaxation admissible to a Government servant, in addition to the relaxation admissible to SC/ST candidates. • Age relaxation is applicable to different categories of candidates as per Government Orders/OMs issued from time to time.

Category: Application Fee General & OBC: Rs. 400 SC & ST: Rs. 200 PwD (Persons with Disabilities): Exempted - no fee • Payment is accepted only through online mode - UPI, net banking, or Visa/Master/Debit card. • Applications submitted without the prescribed fee, or through any other mode, will be summarily rejected. • Fee once paid is non-refundable and cannot be held in reserve for any other examination. • If payment details are not received from the bank, such applications will initially be treated as fictitious payment cases and rejected; a list of such applicants will be published on the MSSC website after the application closing date, and genuine cases will be revived on receipt of documentary proof, if otherwise eligible.

General Knowledge questions assess the candidate's knowledge of politics, history, geography, literature, sports, arts, culture, and special education. • The exam is conducted through the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode; exam venues will be mentioned in the e-admit card. • Questions are of MCQ type, carrying 1 mark each, with no negative marking for incorrect answers. • Duration of the exam is 75 minutes. For PwD candidates using a scribe, 20 minutes' extra time per hour is provided, making the total duration 100 minutes.

How to Apply
Applications must be submitted online through the link on the Commission's website, and only candidates sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange are allowed to apply. • Registration & Login: Register on the portal using parameters matching your Employment Exchange sponsorship credentials, then log in using your User ID and password. • Fill Application Details: Enter your profile parameters accurately - Name, Date of Birth, Category, Language, RCI CRR status, and Government Service NOC if applicable. • Upload Media & Sign Declaration: Upload your photo, scanned documents, and signature, and accept the mandatory qualification-validation declaration checkbox. • Application Fee Payment: Confirm your details and pay the fee via UPI, net banking, or card. Once payment is confirmed, the form is submitted and an acknowledgement receipt is generated.
Required Documents
• Original documents proving educational qualification, experience, age, community/category, and disability (where applicable), to be produced when called for by the Commission. • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned Department/Authority - mandatory for all candidates already in service, other than casual or muster-roll employees. • Category certificate from the competent authority, to be furnished at the time of document verification if the candidate's claimed category is challenged. Failure to produce original documents when called for by the Commission will result in cancellation of candidature.
