Eligibility
Post: Classification | Vacancies | Pay Librarian, Besant Arundale Senior Secondary School: Group B | One (1) (UR) | Pay Level 6 of 7th CPC (Rs 35400 - 112400) Kalakshetra Foundation says the number of vacancies in the notification may vary, depending on the vacancies that exist at the time of final selection.
Age Limit
The age limit is not more than 27 years as on the closing date, 23 November 2026. Kalakshetra Foundation accepts only the date of birth written in the application form and recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary Examination Certificate. No later request to change it will be considered. No relaxation in the upper age limit is available for departmental candidates. Selection Process
Meeting the eligibility criteria does not by itself give a right to selection. Kalakshetra Foundation will shortlist applicants, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test / skill test. The Foundation will publish the scheme of examination on its website later. • Written test and skill test: merit is based on the combined score of the written test and the skill test. • Tie cases: if two candidates have the same combined score, the older candidate (by date of birth) is placed higher. If they are still tied, the alphabetical order of their names decides. • Documents Verification: candidates called for Documents Verification must bring the original academic certificates as proof that they had the minimum educational qualification on or before the cutoff date. These include the Mark Sheets for all years / semesters of Diploma / Graduation, and the provisional certificate / Diploma Certificate. Without them, the candidature will be cancelled. • Suitability: passing the examination gives no right to appointment unless Kalakshetra Foundation is satisfied, after any enquiry it considers necessary, that the candidate is suitable in all respects.
Important Instructions
• Kalakshetra Foundation reserves the right to cancel, restrict or modify the recruitment process without giving a reason. • No correspondence will be entertained about the conduct and result of the test, or about why a candidate was not called for the test. • Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. • All improper applications will be summarily rejected. • A candidate found using malpractices at any stage of the examination will have the candidature cancelled and will be debarred from the recruitments of KF. • No travelling allowance is paid for attending the written test / skill test. If the process runs beyond one day, candidates must arrange their own travel and stay at Chennai. • The declaration in the form states that the candidature or appointment is liable to be cancelled if information is found to be suppressed, false or incorrect, or if ineligibility is found before or after the examination. • The decision of Kalakshetra Foundation is final in all matters, including eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection and final selection. • Any dispute about this recruitment will be subject to courts/tribunals having jurisdiction in Chennai.
