Eligibility

Age Limit
Category: Maximum Age Minimum age (all categories): 18 years General/Unreserved candidates: 33 years SC / ST / Category-1 / 2A / 2B / 3A / 3B candidates: 35 years Candidates residing in Karnataka forest areas (notified nomadic/tribal communities): 38 years Age is calculated as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications (10 August 2026). The above age limits already include a 5-year relaxation granted as per Government Order No. 262 dated 29.01.2026. Ex-servicemen candidates are entitled to a relaxation equal to their actual period of military service, plus 3 additional years, as per the rules described in the official notification.
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in the following pay scale (Level as applicable): ₹37,500 - 900 - 39,300 - 1,000 - 43,300 - 1,125 - 47,800 - 1,250 - 52,800 - 1,375 - 58,300 - 1,500 - 64,300 - 1,650 - 74,200 - 1,900 - 76,100 National Pension System (NPS) benefits apply as per Government Order No. FD (SPL) 04 PET 2005, dated 31.03.2006.

Category: Fee General Merit and Category 2A / 2B / 3A / 3B: ₹750 SC / ST / Category-1 / Ex-servicemen: ₹500 Fee must be paid online only; fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. For the Kalyana Karnataka notification, candidates may submit a single combined application for KSRP, KSISF, and IRB posts since all three share one written exam paper. The applicable fee above is charged for the first post selected; an additional ₹100 is charged for each extra post/category selected within the same application.

Important Instructions
