Age Limit
Category: Maximum Age Limit General Merit: 35 + 5* years OBC Category-II(A) / II(B) / III(A) / III(B): 38 + 5* years SC / ST / OBC Category-I: 40 + 5* years Minimum Age: 18 years (*) A one-time age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to all categories of candidates as per Government Order No. DPAR 262 SeNeNi 2025 dated 29.01.2026, as stated in the official notification.
Salary
Selected candidates for the post of Second Division Assistant will be placed in the following pay scale, along with admissible allowances. Post: Pay Scale Second Division Assistant: Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 (Level - 4) with admissible allowances Appointed candidates will be on probation for a period of two years, extendable if necessary.

Selection Process
Selection for the post of Second Division Assistant will be made on the basis of a Competitive Test (90 minutes duration) followed by an Interview. Sl.
