Selection Process
Selection will be done by the Commission through an interview, and its decision is final and binding. • Candidates may be provisionally admitted to the interview on the basis of the information in the application; an interview letter does not mean the candidature is finally cleared. • Eligibility will be verified with original documents at the time of the interview or earlier, if called for. • Deputation candidates must produce the No Objection Certificate from their organisation prior to or at the time of the interview; without it they will not be permitted to appear. • Those working in Public Sector/Government Sector/Autonomous bodies may apply through proper channel, or submit the NOC at the interview, or submit a proper relieving order from their present employer at joining.
How to Apply
Applications go only by post, in hard copy, in the Commission's own format. • Get the application format from the JSERC website (www.jserc.org). The format is also printed with the notice and asks for post applied for (Deputation / Contract), personal details, service and pay details, pension details for retired officers, CTC for private sector candidates, qualifications, experience and a signed declaration. • Fill the application in the given format. An incomplete application, or one in a different format, is liable to be rejected. • Paste a recent passport-size photograph and enclose a CV, a latest passport-size photograph and attested copies of all certificates and testimonials (all required documents self-attested). • Deputation candidates send the application through proper channel with attested copies of ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years, NOC and Vigilance Clearance Certificate; an advance copy may be sent directly to avoid delay. • Send the application by registered/speed post only to: The Secretary, Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission, 1st Floor, Jharkhand State Housing Board (Old Headquarter), Harmu Housing Colony, Ranchi – 834002. • The application must reach by 20 December 2026, 17:00 hrs. Applications received later will be summarily rejected, and JSERC is not responsible for postal delay or loss.
Important Instructions
• A candidate found not to meet the eligibility criteria (age, education, professional qualification, post-qualification experience) at any stage will be cancelled and not allowed to appear for the interview; candidature may be cancelled even after the interview. • Any canvassing, directly or indirectly, will disqualify the candidature. • No person convicted by a court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude is eligible for appointment. • The Commission reserves its right of discretion to relax any one of the provisions to ensure the suitability of the candidate. • The Commission can be contacted on phone 0651-3167653 and email [email protected].
