The upper age limit is 40 years as on 31 May 2026. The notice calls this date the "closing date". For candidates who have retired from State or Central Government or a PSU as Assistant Engineer (Electrical) on or before 31 May 2026, the limit is 64 years. Both age and post-qualification experience are counted as on 31 May 2026.
Selection Process
• Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic qualification and experience. If response is very high, JSBCCL may shortlist using revised eligibility criteria. • Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview. The list and interview dates are published on the website, which the notice prints as www.jsbccljharkhand.gov.in. Candidates are also told by email. No other method of contact is used. • The final selection depends on your interview performance and is subject to document verification. After that, the "Offer of Appointment" is issued. If a candidate is not suitable for the post they applied for, JSBCCL may offer a suitable post at a lower level.
