Eligibility varies by post. Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Band Level-10 of the pay matrix, with a pay range of Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 1,82,400. The notification does not specify additional allowances separately.

Selection Process
• Selection is made as per Rule 45 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021, as amended. • There will be a written examination consisting of a single paper of 3 hours' duration with 120 multiple-choice questions. The syllabus is available on the JKPSC official website. • The syllabus for the post of College Director of Physical Education & Sports will be notified separately. • The examination will be held at Srinagar and Jammu centres; candidates must indicate their preferred centre, and centre allotment is at the sole discretion of the Commission.

Important Instructions
• Applicants must possess a valid Domicile Certificate of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir; certificates issued after the closing date will not be entertained. • Candidates claiming reservation must possess a valid category certificate on the cut-off date; false/fake/fraudulent claims will lead to debarment from JKPSC examinations. • Candidates must carry a printout of the Admit Card/Roll Number Slip, at least two recent passport-size colour photographs (not taken earlier than 01.01.2026), and a valid original photo ID (Aadhaar/E-Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Passport, School/College/University ID, or Employer ID) to the exam centre. • Multiple applications using different registration IDs may lead to rejection; only the application with the higher Registration ID (RID) will be entertained. • JKPSC does not undertake detailed scrutiny of eligibility at the time of the written exam; candidature is accepted only provisionally and is subject to verification at the document-verification stage.
