Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed in the Pay Band of ₹15,600–39,100 with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of ₹6,000 (Pre-revised), equivalent to ₹57,000 in Level-10 of the applicable pay matrix.

Selection Process
Selection for the JKPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026 will be made in terms of Rule 45 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021, as amended up to date. The process includes: • A written examination consisting of a single paper of 3 hours' duration, carrying 120 multiple choice questions.
