Eligibility
• Qualification: Retired/Retiring Principal District Judge or District Judge (retiring not later than 31.12.2026) • Experience: Judicial service as Principal District Judge/District Judge with clean service record • Age limit: Maximum 65 years Other conditions: • Must have clean service record with no adverse remark • Must not have been compulsorily retired under Rule 74(b) of Jharkhand Service Code, 2001 or similar provisions • Must undertake to serve in the Permanent Lok Adalat of the district allotted upon selection Desirable: • Experience or training in mediation and similar fields

• Apply in the prescribed format given in the notice. • Affix one recent passport size photograph on the application. • Attach two self addressed stamped envelopes of Rs.55 each. • Serving judges must apply through proper channel. • Send to Member Secretary, JHALSA, Nyaya Sadan, Near AG Office, Doranda, Ranchi-834002 by Speed Post or Courier so it reaches by 04-01-2027, 5:00 PM.
