Eligibility
Post: Vacancies | Honorarium Para Pump Operator: 4 | Rs. 7100/- P.M. Para Fitter: 1 | Rs. 7100/- P.M. Multi Purpose Workers: 15 | Rs. 6000/- P.M. Total: 20 The notice says the number of posts may be increased or decreased at any time. All the posts are part time/hourly, and the working hours are 6 hours per day.
Selection Process
Selection is out of 10 marks. First, an initial merit list is drawn up from each candidate's experience and qualification. The top eligible candidates, at least 5 times the number of vacancies, are then called for the skill/physical test. Separate call letters will be issued for the test. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the skill and physical test. Criteria: Para Pump Operator | Para Fitter | Multi Purpose Workers Percentage of marks/grades in Matriculation (Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter) or Middle 8th class (Multi Purpose Workers): 5 Marks | 5 Marks | 6 Marks BPL family having income as prescribed from time to time: 1 Mark | 1 Mark | ---- Experience in related field of JSV/HPPWD/CPWD/PSUs/any authorized outsourcing agency providing services in Jal Shakti Vibhag (1/2 mark for every six months): 2 Marks | 2 Marks | 2 Marks Skill and physical test: 2 Marks | 2 Marks | 2 Marks Total: 10 | 10 | 10 The criteria column lists a skill test and a physical test for Para Fitter and Para Pump Operator, and a physical test for Multipurpose workers.
Important Instructions
• Selected candidates will be deputed under Jal Shakti Division, Reckong Peo, that is, under Jal Shakti Sub Division Reckong Peo, Sangla or Nichar. • Selected candidates will be deputed/engaged on schemes that are already outsourced to firms/contractors. Requests to transfer from the scheme will not be accepted later. • Para Fitters and Para Pump Operators will fill in a quarterly self-reporting format (to be devised by the Jal Shakti Vibhag) and submit it to the Junior Engineer concerned. At the end of every financial year, a consolidated report will be placed for community certification of satisfactory work and conduct. This certificate will be sent electronically to the Superintending Engineer concerned for the record. • Unsatisfactory performance may result in termination of the appointment by order. Termination will not be completed until at least 3 notices have been served on a specific charge without any improvement in service delivery. The Junior Engineer must record the reasons in writing, and the Assistant Engineer concerned must countersign them. • Candidates are responsible for submitting all the required documents. • Candidates will be called for the Skill/Physical Test separately.
