Eligibility

Salary
Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend as per their stream: ₹12,300/- per month for Graduate Apprentices (B.E./B.Tech.), and ₹10,900/- per month for both Technician Apprentices (Diploma) and Commercial Practice Apprentices.
Selection Process
• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their percentage of marks in the respective discipline • Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification • On successful completion of document verification, a panel will be drawn based on academic scores in the Degree/Diploma • Induction of apprentices against vacant positions will be made strictly based on the candidate's position in the panel • Selected candidates will be informed only through email • Candidates shortlisted for document verification are not eligible for Travelling Allowance
How to Apply
• Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in and register/enroll as a candidate • Upload the Degree/Diploma certificate (as applicable) and a valid government-issued ID during enrolment • Note the Enrolment Number/Apprenticeship Registration Number generated after successful registration on the NATS portal • Visit the UMANG portal at https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/ and register/log in • Search for "URSC Apprenticeship" on the UMANG portal • Click on Apply for Position and fill in all the required details, compulsorily including the NATS Enrolment Number/Apprenticeship Registration Number • Upload the required documents (photograph, signature, certificates, caste/EWS/disability certificate as applicable) • Review all entered details carefully, since no changes are allowed once the application is submitted • Submit the application before the closing date, 28 August 2026 (11:59 Hrs)
Required Documents
• Degree/Diploma Certificate or Provisional/Passing Certificate (JPG/JPEG/PNG, max 1 MB) • Marks certificates of all semesters/years combined in a single file (max 1 MB) • Scanned photograph (JPG/JPEG/PNG, max 50 KB), clear enough for identification • Scanned signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG, max 50 KB), clear and legible • Latest caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates, issued by the Competent Authority (max 50 KB) • Disability certificate issued by the Competent Authority, for PwBD candidates • Income and Assets Certificate valid for 2025-2026, in the prescribed EWS format, for EWS candidates (if applicable) • Valid government-issued identity proof • Aadhaar number seeded with bank account and enabled for DBT payment
Important Instructions
• Use a valid and active email ID for registration; this email will be used for all future communication, and only one application can be submitted per email ID - duplicate applications from multiple email IDs should be avoided • In case of multiple/duplicate applications for the same discipline, only the latest application will be considered • The aggregate marks in B.E./B.Tech./Diploma must be entered either as CGPA or percentage, exactly as given in the consolidated mark list, and must be verifiable from the uploaded certificates - any discrepancy at any stage will lead to disqualification • Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply • Candidates must produce all relevant original documents (proof of date of birth, mark sheets, testimonials, and educational certificates) at the time of document verification, failing which they will not be considered for apprenticeship • Candidates will have to make their own arrangements and bear all expenses for lodging and boarding during document verification • No interim correspondence will be entertained, and canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification • At the time of joining, original certificates will be verified; any mismatch with the online application data will result in summary rejection of candidature • URSC reserves the right to cancel or alter the number of vacancies in a particular discipline, or the entire apprentice engagement process, without assigning any reason • Any information/corrigendum/addendum related t…
