Qualification: Minimum Requirement M.E./M.Tech: Aggregate minimum 60%, or CGPA/CPI 6.5 on a 10-point scale M.Sc./M.Sc Tech: Aggregate minimum 65% (average of all semesters), or CGPA/CPI 6.84 on a 10-point scale B.E./B.Tech: Aggregate minimum 65% (average of all semesters), or CGPA/CPI 6.84 on a 10-point scale B.Sc.: Minimum 60% marks, or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale All degrees must be recognised by AICTE/UGC or an organisation authorised by the Government of India, and must have been completed within the stipulated duration prescribed by the university. Only candidates who have already passed out are eligible - those awaiting final results should not apply. Candidates who completed a B.Tech/M.Tech through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not eligible. Rounding of percentage/CGPA is not allowed; marks must be entered to the nearest two decimal points. Salary
Position: Post Code | Emoluments Research Scientist: RS20 to RS25 | ₹56,100 + HRA* + DA (as per Govt. of India norms) Project Associate-I: PAI-06 | ₹31,000 + HRA* Project Associate-II: PAII-02, PAII-03 | ₹35,000 + HRA* Project Scientist-I: PSI-06 | ₹56,000 + HRA* Project Scientist-B: PSB03 to PSB06 | ₹56,000, with a 5% increment every two years subject to performance review, + HRA* Junior Research Fellow: JRF30 to JRF35 | ₹37,000, with possible increase to ₹42,000 as Senior Research Fellow after two years' successful performance review, + HRA* *HRA is paid at prescribed rates if accommodation is not provided at the place of posting. Female candidates are eligible for maternity leave as per Government of India rules, and selected candidates are eligible for medical benefits for self as per NRSC/ISRO rules. Selected candidates will not be entitled to other benefits or concessions admissible to regular employees, and these provisions may change as per government policy from time to time.
Application Fee
Each application attracts a non-refundable fee of ₹250, payable online only through the Bharatkosh payment gateway (no cash, cheque, draft, money order, or IPO is accepted). The last date for fee payment is the same as the application closing date - there is no extension. The ₹250 fee is refunded for all Women, SC/ST/PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria and participating in the selection process (i.e., appearing for the interview). Refunds are made only to the bank account details submitted in the application; NRSC is not responsible for failed refunds due to incorrect bank details, and no refund is considered if a candidate does not appear for interview. Any service charges levied by the payment platform are borne by the applicant.

Important Instructions
