Salary
Post: Pay Level | Pay Scale Project Scientific Officer: Consolidated | Rs. 72,930/- per month (Including HRA) Project Scientific Assistant: Consolidated | Rs. 46,020/- per month (Including HRA) Project Administrative Staff: Consolidated | Rs. 25,870/- per month (Including HRA) In addition to the remuneration mentioned above, Medical Scheme facility under Contributory Health Service Scheme – CHSS facility (self only) is admissible, and necessary deductions will be made every month from salary/remuneration as per IPR CHSS rules. The official notification does not mention the in-hand salary.
Application Fee
Category: Fee General/ OBC: Rs. 200/- Application fee must be paid through online mode only via SBI Collect. Candidates claiming fee exemption must submit the relevant certificate, failing which their candidature will not be considered. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor held in reserve.

• Visit the official application portal via the Institute's website: https://www.ipr.res.in/opportunities/current-opening-recruitment. • Fill in personal, educational, and reservation particulars carefully in the online application form. • Pay the application fee through SBI Collect portal (https://sbcollect.sbi.bank.in/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm) by selecting category "Automobiles/Fuel", searching "Institute for Plasma Research", Gujarat, selecting payment category "Application fees-IPR", and entering the Advertisement No. (08/2026) and Post Code in the Remarks field. • Download and save the SBI Collect payment receipt, and enter the payment and transaction details in the online application form. • Upload a recent passport size colour photograph and scanned copies of supporting documents (proof of age, mark sheets/certificates, caste/community certificate if applicable, experience certificates). • Submit the completed online application by 16-11-2026 (till 5:30 PM). • A recent passport size colour photograph. • Proof of age: Date of Birth as recorded in Birth Certificate, Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC), or Matriculation / Secondary School Certificate mentioning DOB. • Educational mark sheets, certificates, and degrees. • Experience certificate(s), if any. • Certificate of caste/community/class in prescribed Govt. of India format (for SC/ST/OBC non-creamy layer/PwBD/EWS/Ex-Serviceman candidates), if applicable. • Equivalency certificate from UGC/AIU for applicants with foreign qualifications. • Any other relevant documents.
Important Instructions
• All positions are purely temporary in nature and shall be for a maximum period of three (3) years. The engagement automatically ceases upon expiry of tenure, conferring no right/claim for regular appointment. • Performance will be reviewed at the end of each year; if found unsatisfactory, appointment may be discontinued. • Selected candidates will be required to work at Institute for Plasma Research, Bhat, Gandhinagar, Gujarat or its laboratories at GIDC, Sector – 25, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. • Candidates possessing higher qualification than the ONE prescribed for Post Code 01 & 02 will be treated as over qualified and will not be screened in. • If an applicant submits multiple applications, the application with the higher "Application ID Number" (latest one) will be considered. • The written test and / or interview will be conducted in Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
