Eligibility
• Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India / subject of Nepal / person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with intention of permanently settling in India (certificate of eligibility required where applicable; not needed for Gorkha subjects of Nepal). Educational Qualification (Common for Men & Women) BVSc / BVSc & AH degree from any recognized Indian university or equivalent foreign degree (must be included in the first or second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984). Internship must be completed at the time of application. Note: Candidates not in possession of all marksheets and internship completion certificate need not apply.

• Age Limit: 21-32 years as on the last date of submission of application. Category: Age Limit Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age (General): 32 years BVSc graduates (for PC consideration): Below 30 years on date of SSC grant MVSc / PhD holders: Age relaxation as per rules for ante-date seniority

• Visit the official website: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. • Click on ‘Officers Entry Apply/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’ (skip if already registered). • Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully. • After registration, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard. • Select ‘Short Service Commission RVC (Men)’ or ‘Short Service Commission RVC (Women)’ as applicable. • Fill details under various segments - Personal information, Communication details, Education details and details of previous SSB. • Save & Continue each time before moving to the next segment. • Review the Summary page and click ‘Submit’. • Candidates must click ‘Submit’ each time they open the application for editing. • Take out two printed copies of the application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after final submission on the last day.
