Eligibility
Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized Board and possess the prescribed computer typing speed. • 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. • Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on computer, or • Typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer. The typing requirement is based on 10,500 key depressions per hour for English or 9,000 key depressions per hour for Hindi, calculated using an average of five key depressions per word.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is 18 to 25 years. Age is determined as on the last date of receipt of applications. Particulars: Age Minimum Age: 18 years Maximum Age: 25 years OBC Relaxation: 3 years Other Relaxations: As per applicable Government instructions Eligible OBC candidates can receive three years of relaxation in the upper age limit, making the applicable upper limit 28 years for qualifying OBC applicants. The notification also refers to relaxation for eligible SC/ST/EWS/PwBD/ESM candidates under applicable Government rules. Salary
The Hindi Typist post carries Pay Level 2 under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
