Post: Age Limit Deputy General Manager (Career Development Services): 45 years as on the closing date for receipt of online applications Medical Officer: Age Preferably Below – 45 years Manager (Civil): 45 years as on the closing date for receipt of online applications Manager (Electrical): 45 years as on the closing date for receipt of online applications The age limit can be relaxed for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-serviceman candidates as per existing rules. These candidates must attach the required certificates. The closing date for receipt of applications is the deciding date for the age limit and the other eligibility criteria. Persons working at IIM Mumbai are treated as departmental candidates, and there is no age bar for them.

Selection Process
Selection starts with scrutiny/screening of applications. After that, the Institute may hold a written test and/or skill test and/or interview and/or any other test for shortlisted candidates. The Institute reserves the right to revise its criteria for shortlisting candidates for all advertised positions.
How to Apply
IIM Mumbai accepts only online applications. Offline applications are not part of this advertisement. • Go to the official IIM Mumbai careers page at https://iimmumbai.ac.in/careers. The online option is open from 19 October 2026. • Choose one post only. A candidate can apply for one post only. • Enter your email ID in the application form. This is mandatory, and all correspondence, including the written test/interview call letter, will be sent to that email ID. • Upload a recent photograph (not older than six months) and copies of the certificates listed under Documents Required. • If you work in a Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertaking, apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate from your present employer when filling out the online application. • Pay the non-refundable application processing fee of Rs.590/- unless you are exempted. • Submit the online application by 9 November 2026 (05:00 PM).
Required Documents
• A latest photograph, not older than six months. • Certificates of qualification(s), from matriculation onwards. • Experience certificate(s) on the issuing organisation's letterhead, showing the date of issue, the specific period of work, the designation and the pay drawn for each position, duly certified by the competent issuing authority. • Proof of date of birth. • Caste/category certificate. Candidates claiming reservation or a fee concession for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen must attach the relevant certificate(s) in the format prescribed by the Central Government. • For ST candidates: the caste validity certificate issued by the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee of the respective State Government, enclosed with the application. • For OBC (NCL) reservation (where the post is reserved for OBC): a self-declaration as per Annexure – I, along with a certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority. • For PwBD candidates: a valid disability certificate issued by a competent medical authority in the prescribed format. Candidates seeking horizontal reservation and/or age relaxation under PwBD must submit it at the time of application and produce the original at document verification/joining.
