Age Limit
The age limits are listed post by post in the table above. Age will be counted as on the date of the walk-in interview. Candidates applying in reserved categories get the following relaxation, as per DoPT, GoI rules: Category: Relaxation SC/ST (applying in reserved categories): 5 years OBC (applying in reserved categories): 3 years Departmental candidates, or candidates who work or have worked on projects of ICMR Institutes/Centres: Up to a maximum of five years, or the completed months/years of earlier project service, whichever is less, as per ICMR guidelines. They must still meet the essential qualification and experience for the post. For posts earmarked for reserved candidates, age relaxation will follow Govt. of India norms. No relaxation will be allowed in unreserved posts.

• The posts are purely temporary and co-terminable with the project. The selected candidate will have no claim to a regular appointment in ICMR-NITHR, Jabalpur, ICMR or any organization of the Govt. of India. • The posts are contractual for the duration offered and may or may not be renewed, depending on satisfactory performance and requirement. • The stipend or consolidated emoluments of the project positions may vary from time to time. Leave will be as per the ICMR policy for project staff. • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview in person or for joining the post. Candidates must arrange their own transport and accommodation. • Selected candidates must produce original documents of their qualification, age and experience before joining.
