Eligibility

Selection Process
The selection will be purely on Merit basis. In the selection process marks will be awarded to the candidates out of 10 marks by the selection committee: Criteria: Maximum Marks Percentage of marks obtained to be calculated out of 5 (for example getting 50% marks in 10th will be given 2.5 (Two and Half)): 5 Marks BPL Family having annual income as prescribed from time to time: 1 Marks Experience in related field: 2 Marks Skill test for Para Cook & Para Helper: 2 Marks Total: 10 Marks The date for the skill test of eligible candidates will be intimated separately after scrutiny of documents papers by the selection committee and No TA/DA will be payable to the applicants for appearing in the skill test.
Important Instructions
• The selected incumbent will be paid honorarium at the rate of Rs. 9000/- per month for Para Cook and 5500/- per month for Para Helper. • These posts will remain honorarium based and will not form part of cadre post of the department and therefore, will not confer any right on the appointees to claim regularization as per current policy of the Government. • The working hours of incumbents shall be 6 hours per day. • Unsatisfactory performance may result in termination of appointment by passing an order. The process of termination shall however not be completed unless at least 3 notices have been served upon the incumbent on a specific charge and there has been no improvement in service delivery, the concerned J.E would have substantially put down in written the reasons for such termination and this need to be countersigned by concerned Assistant Engineer based on record. • A quarterly self reporting format (to be devised by the Jal Shakti Vibhag) would be filled by the Para Cook and Para Helper and submitted to the Junior Engineer concerned. Based on this at the end of every financial year, a consolidated report would be placed (on a format to be devised by the Jal Shakti Vibhag) for the community certification of satisfactory work and conduct.
