The total selection process is based on 10 marks, distributed as follows: Criteria: Para Pump Operator | Para Fitter | Multipurpose Worker Percentage of marks/grades in Matriculation (for Para P.O. & Para Fitter) or Middle/8th Class (for Multipurpose Worker): 5 Marks | 5 Marks | 6 Marks BPL family having income as prescribed from time to time: 1 Mark | 1 Mark | Not applicable Experience in related field with IPH(JSV)/HPPWD/CPWD/PSUs or an authorized outsourcing agency in HP Jal Shakti Vibhag (certificate from EE(JSV) required; half mark for every six months): 2 Marks | 2 Marks | 2 Marks Skill test and physical test (Para Pump Operator/Para Fitter); physical test only (Multipurpose Worker): 2 Marks | 2 Marks | 2 Marks Total: 10 Marks | 10 Marks | 10 Marks Initial merit is drawn up based on the experience and qualification of the candidate as per the notified criteria. The top eligible candidates (approximately 3 times the number of vacancies) will be called for the skill/physical test through a separate call letter. No TA/DA will be payable to applicants for appearing in the skill and physical test.

Important Instructions
• These posts are purely part-time/hourly basis engagements for operation and maintenance of Water Supply/Irrigation Schemes. • No TA/DA will be paid to applicants for appearing in the skill and physical test. • The working hours for the selected incumbent shall be 6 hours per day. • Selected Para Pump Operators/Para Fitters must submit a quarterly self-reporting format to the concerned Junior Engineer; a consolidated annual report is prepared for community certification of satisfactory work and conduct. • Unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination, but only after at least 3 notices have been served on the incumbent, with written reasons countersigned by the concerned Assistant Engineer. • Multipurpose Worker candidates must compulsorily attach a detailed marks sheet of the middle standard; if not issued by the Education Board, a detailed marks certificate from the school Principal is required. Shortlisting is based only on Middle standard marks, even if a higher qualification is held. • Selected candidates will be deputed/engaged on schemes already outsourced to firms/contractors. Requests for transfer from the scheme will not be accepted at a later stage.
