Selection Process
Junior Programmer falls under Hartron's rolling panel-empanelment process for Computer Professionals (apart from Data Entry Operators), which involves the following stages: • 1st Test - Domain Knowledge Test: A computer-based MCQ test covering general computer topics and questions specific to the domain applied for. This test is valid for 1 year from the date of notifying the posts/advertisement. • Training: Candidates who qualify the 1st test and are found eligible after document scrutiny must undergo training for the respective job role (approx. 50 hours, to be completed within one month/four weeks) at the labs in Ambala or Gurugram, before appearing for the 2nd test. Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory. A security deposit of ₹1,500 (refundable) is payable after clearing the 1st test. • 2nd Test - Practical/Project Test: Candidates who complete training with minimum 75% attendance are eligible to appear. A maximum of 2 attempts is allowed for the 2nd test against a single advertisement, and training may be undergone a maximum of two times. • Panel Preparation: Merit is prepared giving equal weightage to the 1st (Domain Knowledge) and 2nd (Practical) tests. A separate panel is made for each reserved category among candidates who clear the 2nd test, and deployment follows the reservation roster.
